On saturday 28th of June 2008 On the EU PvP Server Soulstorm we managed to succcesfully put together a 24 man raidgroup consisting of totally random people. Our goal was to defeat Vistrix the dragon. News for the Baninated Recently there have been several player bans in Funcom's new MMOG, Age of Conan． The player community has been asking for details as to what has happened and what players can do if they feel they have been wrongly banned．

We also upgraded our barbarian's skills, quickly filling up the hotkey slots with special lunges, overhead attacks and impressively grisly special kills that actually splatter blood on the screen. One particularly memorable melee match ended with us thrusting the oar into a character's chest, pushing them down to the ground and twisting the wooden weapon right through them before grunting and reefing it out.

I haven't been able to play much as of late, but I did manage to hit level 54 yesterday, and I am still enjoying the game immensely．I am continuing to quest mostly in Cimmeria, with some trips back to Aquilonia and the Noble District in Old Tarantia．You can read my previous leveling guides part 1, part 2, and part 3 to see how I progressed from 1 to 49．

After a few more games we started learning the cues． Auras surround character's protected areas． So if we saw an opening above the character's head a downward slash would be used． If they were unarmoured on the left, we'd attack accordingly． You have to be swift, fast on your feet and a quick thinker． The combat gets quite deep and having the right attacks hot keyed to the numerical keys was essential． You'd find yourself trying to use a deadly equation of 1's, 2's and 8's． The games were fierce and fast, bloody and utterly engaging． We would have liked more modes of PvP combat but what we got was great - even though our poor barbarian was frequently battered about．
